The Practice
I work like a tuning fork.
You bring me the complexity. I find the thread. We listen for the distortion — then we attune.
This is for the moment you can feel something isn't landing — in a decision, a relationship, a pattern that keeps repeating — and more information isn't resolving it, because the problem was never informational. It's distortion, and it responds to attunement.
A tuning fork offers a clear reference tone — so that when something has fallen out of tune, the difference becomes easier to hear.
That's how I understand my role. I offer a steady reference point while you find your own way back into tune. Seeing, to me, is perceiving. Together, we listen for where your knowing, your language, your behavior, and your lived experience may have drifted out of tune with one another.
I work in the space between what you know is possible for you and what your life is currently reflecting. The gap itself is information.
Where did the signal distort?
You know what you meant. They heard something different. You want support, but you keep doing everything yourself. You know how you want to lead, and pressure changes your response anyway. You understand this, intellectually — and you still respond the same way.
None of this means something is broken. It means a signal is moving through a field, and fields create interference. Distortion isn't a flaw to fix — it's information. The same distortion tends to repeat in a recognizable pattern, and once a pattern is visible, a bridge back to the original signal usually is too. That bridge is where attunement happens.
The Original Signal
This is what you actually know — your vision, your intuition, your desire, your inner sense of who you're becoming. It's rarely confused. What happens to it on the way out is where things get interesting.
The Field
Between what you know and what you live is a field the signal has to pass through: language, belief, expectation, emotional charge, past experience, self-concept, fear, habit, relational dynamics. Any of these can create interference and bend a clear signal before it reaches the world. This field is where I spend most of my attention.
Transmission
What you're actually sending out — through words, tone, decisions, boundaries, behavior. What you intend to communicate and what you actually communicate aren't always the same thing, and that gap is rarely obvious from inside it.
Reception
A signal also has to be received. Many capable people are well practiced at transmitting — leading, giving, solving, providing — and far less practiced at receiving: love, help, money, rest, recognition, care. You cannot receive what you refuse to notice. What you're available to receive shapes your reality as much as what you send out.
Expression
This is lived experience — your relationships, decisions, work, creativity, the shape of your days. It's information. What you're experiencing may reveal something about what you're expecting, believing, protecting, or allowing, whether or not you've named it yet. The distortion before the crisis. The glimmer before the breakthrough — most people are trained to notice one and miss the other.
See · Align · Expand
The same pathway, applied here
See is hearing the signal as it actually is — the distortion, and the glimmer already pointing past it. Align is attunement — separating what's true from what's old noise, and bringing intention, language, and behavior back into congruence. Expand is transmitting and receiving with more room than before. The aim is greater congruence between what you know and what you live — resonance.
This is the foundation of every session here — from a single Awareness Audit to an ongoing Counsel relationship.
